Founder, GoldenArc · Fractional Head of AI
“I build AI products that ship — and I’ve been building them longer than the title suggests.”
Twenty years in enterprise tech taught me one trade in four movements: I built 0→1 products at HP and HCL, I delivered them at enterprise scale at Cognizant, I sold them to the Fortune 500 at Hitachi and Veritas, and I positioned DataStax for a $1.6B acquisition. Then I came back to building — bringing enterprise-grade product sense to AI-native products.
Today I ship production AI daily: a live SaaS platform on GCP with paying customers, multi-agent systems, custom models, and human-in-the-loop evaluation frameworks. GoldenArc exists because the gap I close — from impressive demo to dependable, cost-controlled production — is the gap killing most AI initiatives.
Twenty years, one pattern: it ships.
One of four graduates selected into HP's elite pre-sales cohort. Mission-critical infrastructure — where “it mostly works” was never acceptable.
Employee #17 in a new business unit. $0 → $18M revenue in six months.
Co-designed SAP-as-a-Service 0→1. The blueprints now generate $1B+/year for HCL.
Grew a single engagement from $90M to $280M ARR — JP Morgan, BlackRock, Bridgewater.
Six joint solutions launched; ~$60M from 17 new accounts.
200% YoY partner-sourced growth; $20M in enterprise deals.
Built the IBM alliance from $0 to ~30% of ARR — the thesis behind the ~$1.6B IBM acquisition.
Bootstrapped to multi-million revenue at 19% EBITDA — Amazon, Walmart, Macy's.
Running AI-first operations daily: EBITDA −20% → +15%; an AI analytics platform managing $10M+ in client revenue.
A boutique, on purpose.
I built GoldenArc to stay small: I do the work, a tight bench of specialists plugs in when depth helps, and a hard cap keeps my client list short.
- You get me, not an org chart. The person on the sales call is the person in your codebase. No leverage pyramid, no junior bench.
- Senior judgment, fractional price. The discipline of a Head of AI who has run the P&L — for a fraction of the $450K+ full-time hire.
- Skin in the game, structurally. Fixed fees mean overruns cost me, not you. Handover-by-design means I win by making myself unnecessary.
Work with the operator, not the org chart.
Thirty minutes with me. Bring your stuck initiative — leave knowing whether it's a 3-week fix or a 3-quarter rebuild.
Every note is read by me, not a funnel. — Mayur Sethi
